Story Plot In Short
The story begins 22 years back when a baby girl, Mannat, was left at Marine Drive in Mumbai by her biological mother. A boy named Aman rescues her, and eventually, she is taken care of by her aunt. On the other side, her mother seems to have changed her identity, moved to London, and started her life over.
Later on, Mannat becomes a professional chef and is employed by a restaurant where her mother is the owner, still, both are unaware of the fact.
Meanwhile, Aman’s life is going through another phase. Due to a dreadful event of his early years, he is abducted and given a new name and identity as Vikrant. He grows up not knowing anything about his real past.
Mannat and Vikrant, through destiny, again meet and fall in love. However, their lives are riddled with issues of secrets, shame, trickery, and coming to terms with the disturbing kind of past. The story unfolds through emotional ups and downs, family disputes, and a major time jump of seven years which brings in the new characters.
