Seher – Hone Ko Hai Story Plot (Short Overview)
The narrative focuses on Seher Baig, a sixteen-year-old aspiring doctor. With the help of her mother, she studies in secret since her father is very strict and refuses to support her ambitions. The situation becomes even more difficult when she relocates to Lucknow and, quite literally, has to live under her father’s shadow. Besides, her wedding is also formally fixed with Mahid Niyazi, a man of great standing in the society but who is emotionally very distant.
Seher then gets trapped in a conservative family where she is monitored very closely at every step. The series portrays a young girl torn between two worlds as Seher contemplates the possibilities of pursuing her dreams while succumbing to the pressure of the family. The question remains whether she will, against all odds, be able to get an education and make a name for herself.
