Story Plot in Short

Mangal​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌ Lakshmi depict the story of two sisters, Mangal and Lakshmi, along with the hardships that they encounter.

Mangal is a naive and illiterate housewife who gives all her love to her husband and family. Her husband Adit is well-educated and holds a senior managerial position. Nevertheless, he frequently belittles her for being traditional and not modern. In spite of this, Mangal selflessly gives her support to the family and takes care of everyone.

Lakshmi is actually her younger cousin. She is educated, bright, and diligent. After becoming orphaned, she assumes the burden of her family and aspires to create a better life. Her story is filled with romantic disappointments, marital troubles, and emotional ups and downs.

The drama centers on mutual respect, hurt, betrayal, the bond between siblings, and self-discovery. It reveals how both ladies confront their troubles in unique manners and strive to create a brighter future for ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌themselves.
