The Complete Story of Jhanak
Season 1
The tale starts from Jhanak, a simple yet gifted girl, who sets a goal to be a dancer. Due to the loss of her mother, she is tricked into marrying Aniruddh in order to save herself from Tejas, a deviant man who is completely obsessed with her. The twist is that Aniruddh has been engaged to Arshi for the past seven years. Jhanak is initially hired as a maid at the Bose family. Two or three members of the family give her some support while the rest only insult and humiliate her. Gradually, Aniruddh and Jhanak develop a strong emotional connection, making the matter more confusing since Arshi is still holding a place in his life.
Season 2
Twenty years later, Jhanak has adopted the identity of Nutan and brought up a daughter named Jhanak as well, who she affectionately calls Phool. Phool aspires to be a powerful officer so that she can provide a good life for her mother. Aniruddh and Arshi have relocated to London along with the Bose family. Their daughter Aditi, who is also called Moon, has grown up and is in love with a police officer named Rishi Chatterjee.
