The Story That Keeps You Hooked
Jagadhatri portrays the story of a young woman who is leading two entirely different lives. She appears as a simple, quiet, and overlooked girl at home. Her family, at times, fails to notice her strength and hidden potential. But yes, she is a completely different person when she steps out of the house.
According to the Bengali version, Jagadhatri is a secret crime branch officer. Very few people are aware of her real identity. She is a confident and fearless woman who confronts criminals and handles difficult cases. Swayambhu who becomes her husband, supports her in her journey and their relationship develops as the plot progresses. The show is a combination of crime investigation, family drama, romance, and plot twists.
Jagadhatri in the Hindi version also has a double life. At home, she is a quiet and overlooked girl, but actually, she is a brave and fearless undercover agent named Agent JD. She carries out risky missions and combats crime while trying to solve the mystery of her mother’s death and her identity. Shivay, her college mate, is there for her throughout the ordeal. The story illustrates how a woman who externally seems to be weak can internally be strong and courageous.
